What is Sacred Geometry?
Have you ever been mesmerized by the spiral of a sea shell or the swirl of the seeds in a sunflower?
Human beings are pattern-seeking creatures and creators. From the pyramids of Giza to the credit card in your wallet; the golden ratio and other forms of geometry can be found, if one is willing to see them.
"These patterns can be observed throughout the universe from cellular DNA to the orbit of the planets around stars."
Nature has supplied us with a blueprint for creation. A language of the universe written in geometric code. Much like the letters of an alphabet, the symbols are shapes that translate to numbers. These patterns can be observed throughout the universe from cellular DNA to the orbit of the planets around stars.
What makes these patterns of geometry in nature, art, music, architecture, and space sacred, is simply AWARENESS. That which we choose to contemplate and bring into our consciousness becomes sacred. Anything that promotes reflection, contemplation and a sense of wonder is sacred in my eyes.
We believe that humanity seeks unity. A sense of wholeness and belonging can be seen in the form of a circle, the first one. We also crave individuality. To break away from the whole and reflect our unique expression of who we are and where we came from.
This can be represented in a line moving away from a starting point, the second symbol. Mind, body, and spirit are 3 components that define our species.
Three lines form a triangle. With 3 simple tools, one can explore the mysteries of patterns found in geometry; unity, polarity, logic, beauty, symmetry, division, expansion, harmony, repetition, creation, and the building blocks of life itself.
